When do you pay your mortgage?
Mine is due the first of the month. My DH was paying all the bill and he was waiting until the 14th (it would come out immediatley since we have citimortage and citibank). He spoke to Citimortgage and said that it is not considered late until it is after the 15 day grace period.
I took over the bills and I want it paid by the first and he was annoyed that I wanted to pay it early.
Does anyone else wait? We also have never gone past the 15 day grace period.

I usually pay it by the first, but both DH and I get paid bi-weekly, so sometimes I will pay it after the 1st, but before the 15th b/c of the day our payday falls on.

We pay somewhere between the first and the fifteenth...but never after.

the 7th, bc FH gets paid on the 1st and I get paid on the 7th - but sometimes it comes out on the 5th

We pay any where between the 1st and 16th. Usually closer to the 16th.

Well, that is good to know.
We had our first payment due on March 1st and I mailed it on the Friday the 23rd DH wants to do snail mail for the mortgage
they posted that shiznet on the afternoon of the 26th!!!
last time I do that

WE usually pay it on the 1st. If DH is slow on his commission checks, it good to know that we have until the 15th to pay.

Ours is due on the 1st too - but you do have the grace period. I send it out on the 10th of each month.

Mortgages unless they are lines of credit are due by the 1st of the month but you can pay them by the 15th without a penalty. Lines of credits are usually due the 15th of the month and you have till the 30th or 31st to pay them without penalty (of course it may vary on the lines of credit). I send it around the 10th but never later than that. I just find no point sending it any earlier because then we don't benefit from having the money in our account a little longer. I usually do all my bills around this date because they are all due around the same time and just makes it easier.

I have been paying it pretty much as soon as I get it. Around the 15-19th of every month.
I don't see a point of waiting to the grace period. Or am I missing something? Even our lawyer said, oh you can wait to pay - you can pay it on the 10th or 12th
I don't like my bills just sitting around
