When do you start planting your flowers???
I know that we have to be frost free. I usually do them in the beginning of May but I was wondering what everyone else does.
I do want to start with the kits that only have seeds but I dont want to do it too early.

Last year, I did the weekend before memorial day and memorial day weekend. We spent early May tending to the lawn.

I always plant my flowers Mother's Day weekend. It use to be a tradition before my mom moved OOS but I continue doing it now myself.

I start after Mother's Day as well. So long as we have no more frost.
Your seeds, you may be able to start cultivating indoors sooner. Read your packaging.

my parents own a garden center... they usually tell their customers that you're safe at mother's day weekend (or even the week before if you double check the forecast and theres no cold temps or frost)
they sell other things in april ( pansies can take the cold weather, lettuce can be planted early) but to be absolutely safe, they tell people to wait until mother's day.
