When do you stop baby food?

Ryan (almost 10 months) is starting to do great with table food. But he sees table food as more of a snack versus the meal.

He still anxiously awaits the baby food.

When did you stop offering it?

I didn't stop until over a yr old. He didn't do that well with table food so I still gave him the fruits and veggies.

My niece up until age 4 would only eat fruit if it was baby food.

And I love peaches baby food and still eat it.

I don't think you really have to totally ever give up baby food.

Kaydyn started refusing it around month ago (she is almost 15 months). We didn't start table food until 10 months though...now all she wants is table food.

ETA: I used to babysit a set of twins in high school and they ate the babyfood fruit until 2 1/2 or so.

Chelsea is starting to refuse baby food and she is almost 15 months. The only thing she'll eat are those gerber graduate meals and ONLY if she can feed them to herself. Sometimes she will still eat the fruit though.

DS is 17 months and still eats baby food fruit - for some reason he won't eat regular fruit. Although, he is starting to push away the spoon when I try and feed it to him

Logan definately sees table food like a snack also.......and he is 10 months also as you know.......I don't see him ready to give it up for a while!!

My dd is a very picky eater.. didnt take to table food, still has a select few items shell eat (ck nug, macaroni, pizza) for meals. Wont touch vegs. so I kept offering it until she refused to eat. At about 17m (right when baby was born) she refused.

My peds said it was okay to keep giving b/c of her pickiness.

We stopped baby food completely between 11-12 months.

We just started replacing the baby food at each meal with table food. DS had a lot of teeth and was always good with self feeding, so he has been eating on his own since then.

Now (10.5 months) not by my choice. He is refusing all baby food and anything on a spoon (like oatmeal and yogurt). When we do manage to get a spoon in his mouth he spits it out. I am going to miss the convienance of jarred food since we are on the go all of the time.

we skipped baby foods and went straight to soft table foods(ay 7 and 8 months old). By 9-10 months old they were eating whatever we would eat at meals.

my DD is 9 months and i have never really focused on baby food. I always gave her the
"soft" or "chopped" up version of our food. She still mainly eats formula and has period snacks of food which is mostly adult food prepared in a way suitable to be finger food for her.

A few days ago for example she had chopped liver on bread, but i made the chopped liver in a food processor and then cut up the sandwich for her so she could pick it up and eat. She also recently had a waffle, strawberries and banana slices- I always offer about 2x what i know she will eat as half of it goes on the floor, her face, her clothes, behind her,etc....

about 9 months, she was never crazy about baby food

At around 10-11 months I had them on table foods.
