What do you think?

I guess after a year.
My year point is coming up though and my wedding still feels so recent!

Re: When do you stop considering yourself a newlywed?
I'd say technicaly at one year, but you arent getting rid of me b/c i'm not fully acclimated on the other LIF boards
Although, i never really felt like a NW since we lived together for a few years before marriage.

Re: When do you stop considering yourself a newlywed?
When the Newlywed Game was on TV, Bob Eubanks used to say 3 years. Right or wrong, it's what I grew up thinking.

Re: When do you stop considering yourself a newlywed?
2 years maybe even 3. When you think about it - you will be married (hopefully) for 50-60-70 years ... 2-3 years is a very small amount of time in comparison and is definitely in the "newly married" stage! If you look at it like that, I think up to FIVE is "newly married" but for my purposes, I will call myself a newlywed up to our 2nd anniversary.

When I stop having just the urge to beat my husband with a frying pan--and actually act on this desire.

Re: When do you stop considering yourself a newlywed?
they say 2 years. I have been married since 7/07 and when I tell people that they say "aww, you're newlyweds"...so until they stop saying that I guess
