when does eye color change
i was born with blue eyes and they changed to brown. my daughter was born with blue. just wondering if they are going to change...when does that happen?

They can actually change up until they are like 2. I have seen kids in my day care take that long to turn.

yeah - it can happen as late as 2 from what I read. My son's changed between 7-12 mo - they turned green and then became hazel first. I would say by a year they were pretty brown.

this is what our Ped. told us. So far at almost 17 mths old hers are still blue....we have blue eyes in the family (DH and I are not blue eyed though)

My ped said that USUALLY they change by a year old....
DD was born with blue eyes and at 11.5 mths they havent changed..DH and I are both blue eyed so I think theres a good chance they'll stay that way.

Genetically speaking, your DD has to have blue eyes if both you and DH are blue-eyed! (ya know, the whole recessive gene thing ..)

Ditto this-it would be impossible for you child to NOT have blue eyes.
