When does the exhaustion end...
I guess never if we plan on having more kids!
Last night DH took DD for awhile so I can settle in to watch my True Blood Season 1 DVDs and honestly, I passed out on the couch mid-way through the first episode. Something as simple as watching an hour show, I can't even make it through. I thought maybe I would get into a groove or I would get used to not getting as much sleep but not as of yet. I live on coffee all. day. long.

Re: When does the exhaustion end...
We had a brief break between, oh 8 months and 15 months or so, now it has definitely set in again at 19 months. It's different then when he was a newborn though, this comes from running around after him all day and the constant boundary setting.
I have the feeling the issues change, but children are never really restful!

Re: When does the exhaustion end...
i would say we were REALLY exhausted until about 4-5 months old, when DS started sleeping in 7-8 hour stretches. since then it's been much better.
right now DS is almost 21 months and he sleeps from about 7:15pm to 6am. so we try and get to bed by about 10, in order to get a good 8 hours sleep. most of the time it works out, so we're not that exhausted.
but DD is coming in 19 days (or less...), so we're going to be exhausted again!
