When does the hair loss stop?

DS is 3 1/2 months old and I just starting losing my hair vey quickly. Is this normal? It is all over the place, especially in the bathroom. Has this happened to anyone else? Doe sit ever stop?

DD is 3 months and 1 week old.. i have GLOBS of hair come out when i wash my hair.. and my hair is all over the place!

OMG MEEE TOOOO!!!
I'm shedding like a dog!!! The bathroom floor is COVERED by the time I finish blowdrying my hair. It's so gross!!!
Michael is 3 months old too.

Does anyone know why this happens?

It stops after a few months. It is disturbing the amount of hair I lost. My hair wasn't completely back to normal until about 1 year (baby hairs were growing in).

It happens because your body goes into a resting phase while you're pregnant. Your hair doesn't grow much & as a result also doesn't shed much. While pregnant, you have thick lush hair. As soon as the baby is out, your hair resumes its normal growth & shedding. All of the hair that would have fallen out & then been replaced these past 10 months is now falling out.

they say 6-12 months. DD will be 5 months next week, and my hair continues to fall out in huge CLUMPS. I can't wait for it to stop.

DS is 3 months and 4 days and I just started my hair loss. Good thing I have alot of hair!

DD is 6 1/2 mths and still shedding....really want it to stop...I could make a wig with all the hair that has fallen out

mine started about 3.5-4 months PP and didn't stop until 6-7 months PP

at 7 months I started seeing the regrowth

Mine started at 3 months pp and is still coming out like crazy, mo son just turned 1

My son is 3m tomorrow and Im in the PP hair loss phase too, I forgot how annoying it is - esp with it being short sleeve weather - there's always a frickin hair tickling me. If I remember correctly, a few months. I think the amt that same out lessened and had stopped by 6 months PP.

My babies are 10 months and it has just started to slow down. I can't believe how much hair would come out everytime I washed it!

It started about 4 months postpartum... It's literately all over the place

I feel like I still lose lots of hair (although not as much as I was). I find it everywhere! DS is just about a year....hopefully it stops soon!!!!!!!!!
