When does the school year start to settle down?
My school is STILL on us about lesson plans, spontaneous informal observations, etc. I am not saying we should all be getting free rides, and that I don't want to work as hard as I am, they are just stressing us out SOOO much more than I thought they would at this point in the school year!
At what point does it start to calm down and the focus is on next year and getting things packed up?

For us it is during regents week that things start to settle down. I am counting the days until June 15th!!!

The school year starts to wind down during regents week.
As for lesson plans and observations, I am done with those for the year. All observations had to be completed by last Wednesday. I guess technically they coudl do an informal observation now, but I think most administrators are busy getting their end of year reports and final schedules completed as well.

Mid-June is when things start to feel more calm & relaxed.
