when is a temp too low...
and what does it mean? is it something to be concerned about? also, would it be lower in the middle of the night? ( i know they say when kids have a fever they spike at night)

Actually I recently read in the what to expect the first year book that body temp is at it's lowest in the middle of the night-somewhere around 96.5, around 97 degrees when they wake up and peaks between 6-10 pm around 99 degrees. HTH

thank you!!! it was between 95-96...and I was freaked...i thought it was broken, so my dh went out at 1 last night to get a new battery.

Also, some people's body temps are lower by nature - not sure if this applies to kids though. But, my normal body temp is the 97 range so it has def. sometimes been where you posted.
