When is it safe to dye your hair?
I know your not supposed to do it in your 1st trimester. Im 12 weeks, so do you think its safe to do it this weekend?

yes. I didn't dye my hair with my first until a week before I gave birth. This time I dyed my hair twice already and will do it again March 1st or there about. I started using a natural hari dye with no harm chemicals and it lasts longer. it's called Naturtint from Whole Foods. a little bit pricier for the average boxed dyes, but worth it.

I waited to highlight my hair after 12 weeks. I finally went at 15 weeks and feel normal again. No more roots!

I've been dying my hair with both of my pregnancies, but I just waited until after the 1st trimester and I try to wait longer in between so I'm not doing it as often. I think 12 weeks is fine.

I haven't dyed it yet and I'm 30 weeks. I'm going to do it right before my shower (3/1).

My doctor said it was safe to dye my hair at any point in my pregnancy but if it made me feel more comfortable, wait till after the first trimester. I am 9w3d, an I am gonna wait until I am 12 weeks. I think you are safe to get it done!

Same here. I also spread it out more (e.g. once in the 2nd trimester and once in the 3rd).

My doctor said the same. I don't know if it's different since I get my hair highlighted but I've kept up my every 8 weeks standing appointment.

My doctor told me that I should just wait til I was done with my PG.... that there aren't any test results showing no harm vs. harm to the baby.
But... being that I am 38 wks right now, and I'm getting sick of these damn grays, I may just do it today.
