When is it too late to get a prenatal massage?
I am going to be 36 weeks on Monday and was wondering if there was a cutoff date that you could no longer have prenatal massages. Going to call my doctor tomorrow, but just wanted to hear your input.
My back and shoulders need to get loosened up!

I personally wouldn’t do it at 36. I think I wasn’t allowed beyond 24 weeks. Also you have to sign the waiver and liability when you get the massage so the massage place may not be willing to do it. If not. Enlist your DH to rub your back!

Re: When is it too late to get a prenatal massage?
I think the only concern is during the 1st trimester. I had massages during my final month and they were wonderful!

You have to avoid the first trimester, but I never heard of it being "too late." I had one towards the end of my pregnancy b/c that's when I was swollen and uncomfortable and needed it!
