it started falling out a lot about 2 weeks ago...i think i'm going to go bald!! omg

4-7 months is when it generally falls out. Don't worry. I only had 1 bald spot after 3 kids and it's growing back.

i thought i was in the clear and then, when my DS was 3 months old, it started but only at my temples! it seemed like it was coming out a lot all over but that was the only place you could really see it. Now DS is 6 months and it has slowed down thank god and the hair is growing back at my temples LOL

It took around nine months for it to stop after DS1 and well over a year with DS2!

I don't remember when it tapered off. We always lose hair so it won't just stop falling out. It does slow down though.

My son will be 7 months next week and its slowing down now.
For me it didnt start till like 3 months or so PP and was INSANE....
I can see the differnece now in it slopwly down considerably...

Mine just started a few days ago...I noticed the drain was starting to collect hair again like before I was pregnant....I hope it doesn't last that long-it's annoying!!

Same here, I just cut off 8 inches of my hair because I keep having to pull it out of DD's hands and off her clothes. Don't even get me started on what my tub and bathroom are like.

I was just going to make a post about this. I lost my hair for like three months after birth. It finally stopped whiched seemed like forever and now DD is 9 months and I am just starting to get new growth of hair on the top of my head. It is standing straight up and no product will tame this mess. Anyone else have this issue with new growth??

the hair loss is from stress, not only that your hair sheds in the winter too. If you feel like you are starting to bald you can use a b-complex which is called botion 300mcg you can take it twice a day and also there is a shampoo with biotion in it that works well too.

The hair loss is not from stress. Your hair does not fall out when you are pregnant, your hormones drop at about the 3/4th months PP and your hair that was going to fall out if you werent pregnant then falls out. Im sure stress doesn't help the situation but it's a pregnancy/PP thing.

i work for a md's office and the stress of have any surgery or a baby you can loss your hair and we tell ppl to take the boition to help with the hair loss. Also yes you can loss your hair from the hormones too.

I have no stress  and mine comes out in handfuls!!
The worst is at the temples and now it's growing back in and looks horrible sticking out!
