when pregnant/planning pregnancy and looking for an OBGYN
did you find one, decided you wanted him/her to be your OBGYN and just went for the consultation or did you interview few drs first and then picked one?
I currently have an OBGYN , but I want to find another dr who is affiliated with LIJ , Winthrop or Mt Sinai and preferably someone who is also high risk. I got few recommendations from friends, but I don't know which one to pick, so I was thinking maybe I should go to them and "interview" them before making a decision, but not sure

I chose my doctor based on the hospital he was affiliated with.
He came recommended by my sister so I decided to give him a try.
I didn't interview or anything, just made an appointment.

A couple years before TTC I looked for a doctor affiliated with the hospital I wanted and who came highly recommended.

i was looking for an OB/GYN in huntington, close to home. And got a few recs on here actually. Then it turns out that both of my SILs go there too and both of my nieces were delivered by the 2 doctors of the practice.
i really liked them when i met them, so i knew that i wanted to stay.
