We get home from getting DD at daycare about 6:45 or so.. A few times, if she just ate or didn't have a good aft nap, she will be sleepy and fall asleep in her carseat. Which is fine, and makes for an easy first few minutes at home getting things situated from the day. However, my DH and I aren't sure if we should wake her or not for her usual nighttime routine, or let her sleep if she stays out? We usually put her down 8-8:30, she is 5 mos.

Should I just let her nap until 7:30 or so, and then get her up and get her ready for bed? I'm also trying to introduce solids and evening is the best time to do it (mornings are always too rushed), so these evening naps are cutting into my trying to feed her the lovely rice cereal as well..

Any advice? Let sleeping babies lie, or just get her up - change/bathe/nurse & try the cereal thing then back to bed?

Thanks a bunch!
