When starting meats......
Did you wait for your doctor to give you the ok or did you start on your own?
How old was DC when you started?

My Dr. told me once we had made our way through all Stage 1 fruits and veggies, as well as rice cereal, oatmeal and barley that I could move onto meats. We just finished our fruits and veggies, but we haven't had oatmeal or barley yet. DS will be 6 months on the 26th.

We started her at 8 months after she finished all stage 2 mixes, fruit, veggies, cereals.
We started DD on solids at 6.5 months old though.
ETA: Our ped never gave us the go ahead, he asked if we gave her meat yet at her 9 month appt, so i assume if we hadn't given it to her yet, he would have given the go ahead.

we got the ok to start them at 6 months.
My boys HATE them though, so I may wait till 9 months.
