When to bring bag into hospital?
For BTDT moms, did you bring your hospital bag in right away or is it better to leave it in the car until after the baby is born and you get into your recovery room? I know I'm having a csection so I assume I'll be in a few different rooms before I end up in my recovery room so should I just have DH get my bag then, or do the nurses put bags somewhere safe until youre ready for them?

I think some people bring 2 bags. Maybe a tote for magazines while you wait and camera. Then dh can get the real bag when you will be in recovery.

We had an unscheduled csection and my sister and in laws had to watch my bag while i had the procedure done. I think if we were having a scheduled one we would leave the bag in the car since it took a while to get into a room.

I brought both bags in, go admitted into labor and deliver right away an hen had an emergency c-section. While I was in the recovery room DH brought them into the maternity wing.

I'm bringing a small bag with magazines, hair ties, chapstick for the waiting/labor part. Then my husband will bring up the big bag afterwards. I think that's what the hospital suggests as well.

with ds I was soooooo not packed because they were running tests. I think we left the bag in the car, dh got it after when I got moved to my room...... THis time around I packed him a garorade and pringles so we'll bring that in...

When to bring bag into hospital?
I had a csection at Good Sam and I bought my bag in with me from the begining. Honestly, I didn't use anything in there except my chapstick until I was in my room. I didn't need anything from my bags while I was in recovery either.

If you know you aree having a csection then I would leave it in the car until you get put in your room in the maternity wing. You won't need anything but a camera and there really isn't a place to put it. I wasn't scheduled for ds1 so I had the labor bag in the room and everything else was waiting in the car. With ds 2 it was scheduled so I went to the waiting room for them to get ready, was there for 20 mins, then I went in to get the section and dh brought the bag up to my room after I was moved there after recovery.
