When to give end of year gifts

My DD will be getting summer services. Would you give the teachers/therapists their gifts now, or at the end of the summer program, before they actually move out of their current room/program? I was going to give today, at the "moving up" ceremony, but DD isn't going anywhere...she will still be with the same people for the summer. So it seems more appropriate to give the gifts in August.

I gave today- the last day of school because some of the aids and therapist are changing for the summer. The teacher also gave a little year end tote bag with a workbook and some phonics books to keep us busy.

On the last day since everyone else will be giving. I didn't want DS to feel left out about not giving too.

I'm giving at the end of the summer program. None of my DC therapists or teachers are changing. I would feel bad just saying, "ok...bye" with no gift in Aug.

When to give end of year gifts

I talked with another mom in the class and we both decided to give the gifts in August. We pitched in the class gift and will give the others in August since otherwise you end up giving 2 sets of gifts and it gets tough. I would rather give one nice one on the actual last day. I expect my DC to have all the same therapists. If something changed, I would just give to old and new in August. I gave the bus driver and matron today since I don't know if DC will have same bus.
