When transitioning to a new formula
how do you go about doing it? How long do you mix the new with the old? DS was doing well on the enfamil but we had plans on switching him to nutramagin since we have tons of cans left over from DS. I started mixing the two yesterday and he just isnt eating right.

Re: When transitioning to a new formula
When we switched formulas, the ped told us not to mix them to just start with the new brand. She also said to try it for a week before deciding whether or not to stick with the new brand. Hope this helps.

Re: When transitioning to a new formula
My pediatrician also told us to just start the new formula immediately. No mixing with the old.

Re: When transitioning to a new formula
Our ped told us to mix for 3 days. Day 1 - 3/4 old formula, 1/4 new in each bottle Day 2 - 1/2, 1/2 Day 3 - 3/4 new formula, 1/4 old Day 4 all new
ETA: took 7-10 days to notice a huge transformation in DS from gassy baby to happy baby!
