when will you try for the other child.

if you are planning to have more than one child, when do you think you will try to have the second one. I am debating on 2 years apart.

My DH and I were discussing that yesterday - I said maybe - MAYBE we will try for #2 next summer. Like I said maybe.

As of now, a couple of months after this one. I would love to have them about 1 year apart. I say this prior to having a newborn so we will see after that.

I will also like to try as soon as the green light is given. But just like Shamrock...who knows how I will feel after the baby is here.

DD wil be a little over a year old.

ETA: ideally i would like to shoot for 3/4 years apart, but i view myself as "too old" to wait

If all goes well with the rest of this pregnancy and the birth, we hope to start trying for #2 within 6 months after I deliver.

Not only would I like them close in age, but I have to consider that I will be 37 this December so I really would prefer not to wait much longer to add to our family (hopefully )

We'll have to see how it goes - I'd love to try when they're about a year and a half or so but anything can change so who knows. Part of me thinks I should wait to have the two out of diapers before having a third, but we'll see!

If all continues to go well with my bean and the baby is born in March, with some luck hopefully we would try for another within 6 months.

We want to do so soon after bc it would be an FET and if it didn't work we would have to do the whole IVF route again, unless a miracle happened. We also would like to have, G*d willing, more than 2 children.

We'll probably wait until the baby is 1 and then start trying again- so the kids will be roughly 2 years apart.

I know I want 2 children but I can't even think about when #2 should come until #1 arrives.
Funny story: when we were shopping around for houses I mentioned to DH maybe we should consider 4bedrooms if there is no where else to put an office. He said why one bedroom for us one of the baby and one for my office. I mentioned what if we want another baby? He's eyeballs almost popped out so I think he needs to adjust to one baby for awhile.

Well- I want to have my child bearing done b/f I'm 35- and I'm 30 now- so I'm thinking we still start trying when I'm 33 (b/c it took us 9 months to get preg this time around)

Of course assuming that everything goes well with this one (only 9 weeks to go!), we plan to try for #2 when this baby is maybe 1 1/2 - 2. I love the idea of them closer in age rather than too far apart. I deally, I would love 3 kids but again, it really depends on how this one goes!
Also, I am already 33 so I don't want to wait TOO long!

We are out of time so to speak so probably when this child is a year old. I will be 38 then.

We tried right away. We had originally planned on starting to try a year after Christopher was born, but the baby bug bit us a bit early and we started to try 6 months after he was born. Christopher and his little sister will be only 15 months apart.
