When you are testing with OPK's......
......do you you get faint lines that seem to get darker when getting close to a positive??
Or do you all of the sudden one day get a positive???
I have a line today that is still lighter than the test line, but it's pretty close to being positive. I'm gonna test later anyway, but I was just wondering what happens with you.

I've had both experiences. Sometimes I get faint lines leading up to a surge, and other times I get no lines whatsoever until the surge.

You will have both. This is because LH(the hormone that is measured by OPK's) is a fluctuating hormone up until the day you surge.

my personal experience was no line
the next day a line but lighter and then the next day a definate darker line.....

I always got a little confused with the lines...I like the clearbue happy face one..It is more expensive but much easier to read.

I test twice a day and I have to start on CD 10 and can go all the way to CD24 before Oing. Those nice digital tests are way too expensive. I have to buy the 20 packs.
I wish I could use those.

Yes, I got a faint line the day before my +. But the day before that there was nothing so I guess that it did get progressively darker.

Yes, I tested a day too late the 1st time I used the OPK but I BD'd the night before and the line was very dark but not as dark as the "control line" then the next day it was even lighter. I must have O'd the day before I 1st tested b/c I got PG that month.
