When you polish your nails,
does your SO complain of the smell???
I can really only do my nails at night, since it gives them time to dry but I swear, I have to move to another country so I don't stink him out.
What do you do?

we used to have this problem.
he used to be all dramatic and close the doors and light every candle in the house - but i simply made it clear that i my habit wasnt about to be broken.
eventually he learned to tolerate it. he still doesnt like to be in the room when im polishing - but he has gotten over throwing a mini hissy fit about it.
i really just kept a blase attitude about his feelings. i know its probably not the best marriage compromise but we all have to make them at some point - i made this be one of his!

Yup. He's free to go spend time in any other room in the house if he doesn't like it, but generally chooses not to leave, so... must not be that bad

He actually blows on my nails to dry them for me..

I used to try to do it when he wasn't home (like when he's out at his bowling league or watching football at the bar with the guys) ... but if I feel the need and he's home, he deals with it and doesn't really complain.
He notices the smell of me peeling an orange more

He can't stand the smell. He said he would rather give me the $ to get it done. I'm just too lazy to sit atthe nail salon and wait for my nails to dry before I can go home!
