When you surrender vehicle plates to DMV by mail
How long does it usually take to get the form in the mail confirming that you surrendered them for your insurance?
Its been a while now and I'm wondering if I should call

So you never rec'd the FS6, the green receipt.
I would make a call.

It took about 2-3 weeks to get mine, i'm not in NY. They are backdated too, so when you turn it into insurance you get credited for the day DMV recieved them.

i think it took about 2-3 wks for mine as well.
i'd wait another week or so and then contact them

send them return receipt...but seriuosly you should have gotten one by now I would call
