When your baby went into a toddler bed...

When they woke up did you stay in bed and let them play in their room? Or did you leave their door open and let them come to you?

I am debating on whether I should move her into one before DS grows into the bassinet so she doesn't get upset that he is going in her crib...but she stays in her crib for so long awake...that I'm afraid it might turn into a sleep disaster trying to get her to stay in bed. She's 21 months.

Any suggestions...advice? thanks!
