When Your DH or SO Is Sick..Do They Go Overboard
Do they act like babies and whine all day long...or do they $uck it up?

I;m asking because I was in the hospital till about 3:00 am this morning w/ dh, He was getting chest pains and felt reallt dizzy. He has low blood pressure so I had to ggo get him at work and made him go to the ER. Turns out it was "nothing" per the Dr. I was so annoyed, I really have no sympathy or patience for it. I know, it's chest pains and could be heart related but sometimes I think he over does it.

My DH is such a baby when he sick. Especially if he catches something from me. Of course he gets it 100 times worse.

Oooh girl, in your case, I think it's a legitimate reason for him to be a baby. You never knnow with chest pains!!  Thank God he's OK!! 
I'm talking about the flu, a "booboo" on his finger, anything minor...DH becomes a baby. Can't walk, can't lift a hand, can't shower...
But something that would require me to go the ER with him, I would try my hardest to be patient and understanding...
Although I know for a FACT that men could never be us. The pain I go through every month during AF alone would kill DH!

yes! you would never think that the common cold could cause such Plague-like side effects 
meanwhile, i Never get sick (knock on wood)... but the last time i did- i was laying down in bed, kept saying 'i need tea w/ honey.. my throat is killing me'.. DH just laid there with me. Finally, i get up, go into the kitchen and make it myself. He calls into me from the bedroom (laying down all nice and cozy) and says "while you're in there, can you make me some hot Chocolate?"
thank god there were no spare Bricks laying around, because it wouldve been implanted in his head!!

That's what I was getting at. DH is actually MEAN to me at times when I'm sick. It's so bizarre!  And then he gets all "pawy" like "oh, defenseless woman over there with a fever let me take advantage"... He's precious!

to say he acts like a baby would be an understatement - if he has a cold- he tells me he needs to go the hosptial b/c he has some new crazy illness-
I say no- you can go to the doctor tomorrow- and then he is fine the next day
over reacting is his speciality!

DH is good about being sick and he rarely, if ever, goes to the dr. I, on the other hand, am much more of a baby when I'm sick.
