ok I have a few questions
the age thing with Locke and the guy from Suddenly Susan ,aren't they a little off there?
So Suddenly Susan guy was part of the native inhabitants of the island? and then the Dharma people came in (Ben, his dad etc)?
Why is Jack such a wuss? Seriously it should've been him in that grave instead of Locke -- Locke redeemed himself this episode
 "The suddenly Susan guy" I love it, thats what I thought of the first time I saw him!!!!!!
And H E L L yeah, Locke redeemed himself, he kicked @ss!!!!!!

Maybe that's why all the babies die, they get sacrificed or something to keep everyone else alive and young. I don't know, just a theory.
ETA: I meant the pregnant girls. Not the babies.

Now, DH and I have 2 thoughts.
1-when Jacob said help me, it would have to be the words John would utter at the right time, which he did.
2-Ben has some kind of hold on Jacob and it is up to John to un"Locke" it.
I'm also seeing lots of wizard of oz things.

that's what I was thinking as well, since the Suddenly Susan guy looks younger than Ben does now... but Ben met him when he was a child?  Makes no sense
WHAT a freakin crazy , awesome episode though  I was at the edge of my seat all night
I don't want Locke to be a goner though.. I love him , and he did redeem himself the past few weeks

Good point! Could be that Jacob is Jack's father.
what if the island is the fountain of youth but what does that mean for the babies why do they die? Agh this show drives me crazy!

so freaky.. but before Ben and Locke opened the door to "Jacob house" .. DH and I both jokingly blurted out "hey maybe it's Jack's dad in there" .. (don't ask me WHERE this came from, but we both just took a wild guess because Jack's dad seems to always pop up here and there)
I can't even say who that pic looks like, too hard to tell.. but it would be truly WILD if Jacob was Jack (and Claire's) dad 
I do also think though that Penny's dad might be involved somehow in all of this, just not sure how
