Where buy Free Range Chicken
Hi Everybody,
I have been a strict vegetarian for 12 years, but for newly developed food allergy reasons I have to eliminate some important foods from my diet. I have decided to eat chicken. I haven't started yet though because I want to eat Free Range, organic, etc. ONLY.
I live in Northport. It's a hike to Whole Foods, does anyone know somewhere closer where I can buy it?

I buy at shop rite I think the brand is Bell & Evans but there's another I can't think of.

My Waldbaums does Bell and Evans also. Not sure if they carry anything else.

There is a poultry farm in Kings Park right off of Indian Head Road. I believe it's Raleigh's (sp) Poultry Farm. I would give them a call.

Stop & Shop may have Bell & Evans too. They also have their own Nature's Promise, although I don't know if it's free-range or just organic.

Stop & Shop has a bell & Evans, although not a big selection. Uncle Guiseppes in Smithtown has a big selection of Bell & Evans. Also Wild By Nature carries Murrays Organic and I know there is one in Huntington. I am borderline vegetarian and only eat organic chicken.
