Where can I buy chocolate for a chocolate fountain?
We have one and want to use it at DS' birthday party, but (1) have never used it and (2) need to buy chocolate for it.
Where can I buy the chocolate?
TIA!

Where are you located?
I would buy it from a chocolate place like:
Emily's in Nesconset Candy Lane in West Islip

I use regular Ghiardelli milk chocolate chips (2) 11.5 oz bags, mix with a little canola oil, microwave it - then put it in my fountain. HTH!

I am in Queens, but MIL lives in Lake Grove, so I get out that way about every other week.

this is what i was going to say too--- michaels also carries it. I've used my chocolate fountain a few times, always w/ chocolate from ac moore and michaels... and everyone seems to like that chocolate. I do put it in a double boiler on low over my stove before putting it in the fountain though---- it helps everything flow more smoothly.
ETA: If you get on AC moore's mailing list they will email you a coupon every week. If you're close enough to them you can go every day and use a coupon... otherwise just bring a few ppl w/ you to get enough chocolate
