Where can I buy frozen swedish meatballs?
I have a block party on Sat and we were instructed to bring an app... I figure sweidh meatballs would be good.
So where can I buy them pre-made? I'm going out tomorrow night and won't have time to make them Sat morning...
Thanks!
Or - I have frozen mini italian meatballs, can I do something with them?
TIA!

BJ's and any grocery store. I think even target has them but if you are near Ikea then I would suggest getting them there because I have heard they are delicious!

Also...this may sound gross but I promise you these meatballs are delicious!
Grape Jelly Meatballs 2 12 oz jars Heinz chili sauce 1 32 oz jar grape jelly 1 bag meatballs (about 80 in a bag)
Put chili sauce and jelly in a large pot, heat until jelly is melted and sauce is smooth, stirring often. Add frozen meatballs; heat until meatballs are thawed and then simmer for 3 hours.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to get to Ikea (it's a little far from home and work) but if I can't - do you think I could make these using the italian meatballs?
Thanks!

I don't see why not. I have made the above recipe using the frozen meatballs from BJ's. They have italian style and swedish style.

I happen to have a bag of frozen italian meatballs (don't shoot me, I work a lot) and it would be simple enough for me to go to our market and p/u the chili sauce and jelly.
Thanks.
