where can i buy one of those bfing cover up things?
i'm thinking of getting one of those bfing poncho looking things to cover up while on the plane next week. does bbb or bru sell them? how much $$ are they?

I agree, I just use one of the million receiving blankets I got as a cover up when I'm in public.

i ordered one of these . i love it, because it's large enough to cover both babies when i am tandem nursing and it doesn't slide off at all.
i think i ordered mine from amazon for a little cheaper.

I agree, I just use one of the million receiving blankets I got as a cover up when I'm in public.
ds just yanks them off! i was hoping he wouldn't be able to do that with one of those cover ups.

I ordered one of the Hooter Hiders - it wraps around your neck which means that DC can't poss pull it down, and it has boning around your neckline, so you have a constant visual, and the baby can always see you!
I was on a plane flight, and there was a woman seated across from me who was using this with her son, and she said that he was finally happy with a nursing cover of hers b/c at 5 months, he would fuss so bad when he couldn't see her as she was nursing w/other cover ups!

this is the same as the link i posted above. they changed their name, but it's the same thing. i love the boning, so i can look down at them and the corner has terry cloth for spit up. it was clearly designed by a mom!!!

i used all of my blankets too- but guess what? i minned the corners with one of those big oversized pins (like ones they use for cloth diapers)...i pinned corners and then put it over my head...that way, it is around my neck and no pulling off!
save your money!!  and this way, they are stylish too!

i have resorted to holding one end with my mouth and the other with my hand and leaving the eyes out of the blanket. He would only rip it off when he couldn't see what was going on around him.

i recommend getting one - because as a novice I was always afraid something was showing. Well.. with those, nothing showed! and they hold, unlike blankets.
I bought mine at babycenter.com.
The one I have (which I love cause its big and covers everything) is from Bebe La Leche.

These work okay - as long as your child will let you cover them up - the advantage is they can't pull it off

I don't have one. However, of all the ones I've seen, I like this one. I think it looks least like a nursing cover.

I never bought it but I should have. I will if I BF for #2.
I had this and loved it. My only regret was not buying it sooner with DD. It is so much better than a blanket... well worth the $, in my opinion!

I believe the website that I went on was motherwear.com
I saw some great tops in there. With DS I just wore a lot of button tops or just used a blanket.
