FYI - I went to keep it simple and do a Costco cake - loaded both kids in the cart and dragged them there today to find their bakery is being renovated this week 
So, someone tell my DH it's just not in the cards for me to do simple

I want to say I see these in Waldbaums or Stop & Shop. I'm pretty sure one of the supermarkets carry these.
Maybe not all the characters but cookie monster and elmo.

You should ask at Slap Happy. They are the bakery in the same shopping center as Hemingways & the 5&10. SOOOOO GOOD.

I get everything from there - they know me in there But they are not cheap for cupcakes (a plain chocolate is like $3.50)- I'll call Waldbaums first and then see ...
But their stuff is amazing!

That's funny! We can't really get anything b/c of Andy's allergy, but once in a whlie DH will surprise me after the kids go to bed with a cupcake from there.

Really? the Waldbaums on Sunrise Highway in massapequa usually has cookie and elmo. They don't look as nice though.
