Where can I take Crocheting Classes?
OK, Im trying over here with books and you tube to learn to crochet, and its just PISSING me off. I have questions as I go and a book or video isnt going to help me, LOL.
Any place I can take classes with an actual person..in Suffolk? I found a bunch of local knitting classes but none for crocheting.

Mel I posted on your other post- but I am taking a beginners Crochet class in Sayville at Rumpelstiltskin's. I had my first class this past wednesday.

how was it? Do they have group or private classes?
I saw that place online and it seemed to be the only yarn shop that offered a crocheting class.

I liked the first class. It is semi-private calss. There is 6 people in my group.
There is extra help on Saturdays that you can go to when you are signed up for classes. They offer private lessons too.
They have knitting, crochet, and also yarn spinning.

Melissa - I can show you the basics and let you borrow a pattern book that takes you through every stitch there is.

long island knitting and crochet guild....
its mostly knitting members, but there are some crochet and they will help...
meetings are in merrick.
