WHERE did DC his/her first tooth?
It looks like one of my DDs has a tooth in the bottom about 3 or 4 back from the center - but she won't let me in to see for sure. 
Just wondering where DC's first tooth was? Front, bottom, top, on the side, etc. TIA!

She got her bottom two first. Stick your finger in and feel - DD would't let me pull down her lip either

Julia got her 2 bottom teeth in first, they say thats usually the teeth they do get in first.

Bottom 2 on both my kids. Then the top 4 all at once, and then the other 2 bottoms. Both my kids had the same pattern and had 8 teeth by 8 months.

bottom 2 fronts first.
I swore that his first would be in the spot you just described, but I guess it was just inflamed from the front ones coming in because now there is no tooth to be found there.

You could be feeling the tooth bud. When the tooth pokes through, you will feel like the tip of the pin poking out of DCs gum.

Laura, DD has the same thing. A very hard, distinctive bump (almost sharp) under the gum towards the back right side of mouth. I have to say its been there for a few weeks and she's always chewing on her hands and toys on that side, but I'm not sure if its a tooth since its taking a long time. I have her well visit tomorrow, I'm going to ask the ped what he thinks.

Maybe we can attribute this to them not napping.  They've both had white dots in the same exact spots for about a month and 1/2 now. Just today she was so cranky in the afternoon I put my finger in there and there it was. Strange that everyone's DC got teeth in the front but this tooth is towards the side!

Top right center, then bottom center right and then back to top left center, bottom left center. He was a late teether and got these 4 between 13-15 mos.

Same here. I used to go in her bedroom at night with a flashlight to peek into her mouth. That's also how I cut her finger nails!
