we got ours from JC Penny, too. ( pics in my album) its been over 2 years, and we're realy happy with it so far. we had a great experience with the delivery, etc... and the price was good too. we also got our mattress and boxspring from them, too and when the boxspring was too high for our pillow top mattress, they came like the next day and replaced it with a half height boxpsring with no problems....
i would definitely recommend them.

Restoration Hardware...its so pretty!! Its the only bedroom set that we both liked. Pictures are in my album.
ETA: Its a tobacco (dark brown) color, but it looks kind of black in the pictures.

Raymour & Flannigan. Salesman & delivery guys were fantastic (delivery guys called to see if it was ok to deliver 2 hours early!), we got it in 3 days, and I couldn't be happier.

North Carolina but I absolutely would not recommend the company, Sobol House, they were terrible and it's a very long story.

Stanley's in Patchogue....if you see a set you like in any other store, take a pic and bring it to them, they will order it and we saved over $600
