Where did you get your stair runners?
And how much do you think it would cost for 2 sets of stairs about 6 steps each? TIA

I had a rug custom cut at a carpet store, made into a runner. For about 13 stairs, I paid about $600.

I had a rug custom cut at a carpet store, made into a runner. For about 13 stairs, I paid about $600.
We did the same with hotel grade carpet at Home Depot. It ran us about $700ish. I have 2 landings and 10 steps. I wanted my upstairs hallway in the same carpet so that's why we did it this way.

LOL! This seriously made me laugh out loud. My DH is onto my secret list making though....I never knew I was so transparent.

I just ordered one yesterday. I couldn't find any runners I liked, so I picked out a carpet, and am having it cut and bound into a runner.
We have a straight staircase, 11 steps, and its $450 installed (we got quotes for double that price for the same carpet).
On a recommendation we went to Class Carpet in Levittown. Alex is wonderful to work with.
Don't know if you can tell from the pic but there's a pattern sculpted in the carpet. The runners we looked at were too busy and traditional for our house.
