I switched this year to the Brookstone LED auto on/off lights.

No cords, no electricity, and because we have those windows with the crisscross pane thingys I can put them between the screen and window so the candle is not blocked.

i just bought some for $2.99 each at BBB. i bought the battery powered ones. the only bummer is that you have to turn them on and off but they look pretty

I just bought some today (cordless/battery powered) at ace hardware for 5.99 ... they say the turn on and off by themselves and stay on for 8hrs at a clip. I put them on but they have an orangy tinge to them, I'm not sure I like them that much b/c our lights outside are white I'd go out and look again but there is a stray dog roaming the neighborhood and i'm scared

eta: I also went to linens and things and they only had 1 left b/c of the going out of business sales I bet... and I also went to Target and they didnt have ones that went on and off by themselves (but they did have cordless ones)

We got ours at Walmart last year. We also bought about 6 automatic timers so that we don't have to go around the house turning them on every night.

I LOVE the way they look.

I want to order the Bethlehem Lights ones from QVC--they are cordless and automatic but I can't see spending $70 on window candles. I have the plugin sensored ones from Ace Hardware now.

So I got 12 for $156!

I REALLY want them to burn WHITE, no yellow.

I think I may have to spend and go the Brookstone route.

aww I can see why you LOVE the Restoration ones... they would look perfect.
Just to answer you and throw it out there, these are mine:





My colors are more American folky; they are corded and have the soft silicone candle like top (actually came with a brown cord and DH swapped it out with a white one from $1.99 candles I got from Christmas Tree Shop so it camouflaged better with the trim/wall)
Got them at Jones Farm in Cornwall.
Jones Farm & Country Store worth the trip for the Carrot Cake and fudge ALONE!

I bought mine at Micheals for 2$ each and they are very bright and my neighbors have even asked where I got them! HTH

I bought mine from QVC. They go on at dusk (which isn't that bright) so I turn them on manually. They came in silver or brass. I wish I didn't have to plug them in but they look great! And were a great price.

Let me know how the Brookstone ones are!
