Where did you get your wood swing set?
We are looking into getting a swing set for Hayley. I have seen the Toys R Us ads and they look so nice in the pictures but are they decent quality? Or will they fall apart in a year? Reading some of the reviews on their website have me scared.
I went to Creative Playthings in Smithtown . I am sure Wood Kingdom is just as but I am sure they are worth the $$.
Opinions?

Sam's has an awesome wooden one for around $1k. It has all the bells and whistles and I hear the quality is great. I think it's the setting it all up yourself part that stinks though.

Thanks! I didn't think to check Sams. I was also going to look at Costco.

My husband built the one we have. He bought the the lumber from Lowes and the slide and captain's wheel from Wood Kingdom. We got the swings from Toys R Us.
It's not the hottest looking thing on the block - but it's sturdy and it was built with love.

If your husband is handy they have tons of kits and then you can get extras at places like woodkingdom.
We got ours from woodkingdom because my DH is NOT handy and I don't trust his skills enough on something that my daughter will be climbing and playing on. If you buy off season it is definitely a lot less expensive

We went to TRU this morning and bought the Little Tykes Arcadia wood set. It came out to $1500 with the 15% off for opening a credit card. The wood has a lifetime warranty on it!
We bought one from Wood Kingdom a few years ago and the cedar wood splintered and chipped TERRIBLY. We spent $1600 on our Wood Kingdom set and IMO, it was not worth it.
