Where did your 1 year old sleep when you went on vacation?
We are leaving Saturday and I am not sure where DS will sleep. Should we bring the pack and play? I am a little squeamish about renting a crib from the hotel?
What did you do?

At 1 year he slept in DH's aunt's PNP that she had from a babysitting job
At 8 months he slept in a hotel PNP and it was in wonderful condition and they had a sheet with it.

we used the hotel crib - i wasnt gonna lug around the PNP all the way to the bahamas LOL
but if you dont wanna use the hotels def bring your PNP!

She slept in the PNP the hotel provided and I brought my own sheets to put on it.

Hotel PNP, but we had ours in the trunk just in case. The hotel one was perfectly clean so we ended up using it with no problems.

Pack n Play. If we drove, we brought ours. If we flew, we used the hotel's and just brought our own sheet.

Both times we have gone away we used the hotel crib or PNP but I brought him sheets blankets and his pillow from home.
In both cases the PNP or Crib was in good condition so I had no issues using it!

the home we rented provided us with a porta-crib, complete with bumpers and sheet. it worked out perfectly.

We always got a 2 bedroom suite and she'd sleep in her own room in her pack n play. She would never sleep with us in the room!!!!

in the closet, lol. The resort that my family goes to for reunions has these huge walk in closets and we put the pack n play in there so we could cut down on noise and light when she slept.

We went to Disney for DS's first birthday - we used the PNP the resort provided. The first one they brought was a little yucky - we had them bring another. We wiped it down and brought our own shee for it.

The houses we've stayed in has these closets as well, but DH's 18 year old cousins slept in there last year (2 girls)
