My boss and my father gave me mine. When I went back to work after my wedding, my principal called me The Divine Mrs. M. My father did the same thing at dinner a few days later. (No, they don't know each other). I found out later it was one of Bette Midler's stage names.

When I lived with my ex in Brooklyn I worked in a bar where we had nicknames and mine was 'kitty' for several reasons. When my ex and I broke up (amicably) I said to him "Great, now I am homeless" just joking around, and he said "Awww... kitty the stray" and it stuck. My DH jokes I need to change it to “kitty the STAY”

Happy Anniversary!
My is dumb. There is a line from an R.E.M. song, "I'm a tourist in the 4th dimesnion." And it was in my head at the time I signed up for LIW, so I chose it b/c it was shorter thatn "tourist in the 4th" & it was fairly anonomous sounding.
I don't travel particularly often, as some people may think.

Love that. 
I was greenfreak way before these days of environmental consciousness.
I've preferred the color green since I was a kid, for all things. When I got my first AOL account, I needed a screen name and since green sort of rhymed with freak and my friend used to call me a freak all the time, I chose it and kept it.
Later I took up gardening. Later than that I became more interested in the environment. My preference for green things has become a sickness now. I'd seek out help for it but I don't want it to ever change.
