ETA: How much evening primrose do I take a day/at a time and do I take it by mouth? How much tea do I drink a day?

I wonder if a health food store like Sherry's in Babylon would carry these. I'd probably call before making the trip unless it's very close to you.

i ordered red raspberry leaf tea on amazon ($12 shipped for a huuuuge bag of loose tea) but vitamin / health stores have them too (GNC, vitamin shoppe, etc). It doesn't bring on labor though - it just supposedly makes contractions more efficient so that labor itself is faster.

from what I heard they're supposed to help start labor. I don't remember exactly how but if you google it you'll be able to find it. Acupuncture helps too :)

You can get EPO at any drugstore in the vitamin section. Whole Foods has the tea.

A health food store... I actually got liquid red raspberry leaf. After much research they really don't do what your body is ready to do but it helps speed up labor as the tea tones the uterus making the contractions better and EPO thins the cervix helping effacement and dilation. I use both been drinking the tea since 33 weeks now I'm up to 4 cups at 36 weeks and just started inserting the EPO at 36 weeks

i've been drinking about 3 cups of Red Rasp Leaf tea per day. There are some websites that suggest it's not good to drink it in the first two trimesters but all of them recommend you start as early into the 3rd as possible since the tea needs time to build up in your system (though better late than never)

i ordered rrl tea from sunshine organic herbals. it helps strengthen and tone the uterus, but wont put you into labor necessarily.

no idea how much epo to take. trader joes and whole foods carry it.
