Where do you buy wine or champagne online?
I've never enjoyed a wine or really any type of alcohol but last night I finally found something I like. Too lazy to go to the store so I wanted to purchase online! Thanks!

I will buy directly from the vineyards for wines I really like and can't find locally... However, shipping on wine can be expensive. Usually, shipping is only free on a case or more. It pays to just go to the wine store.

when it comes to booze, it's actually pretty difficult to buy online.... I believe you have to find an online shop within NYS, since I think it's still illegal to 'traffic' booze across state lines  Also, becuase liquids and glass are heavy, the shipping charges are killer.
the least annoying way to buy wine is to go to the local liquor shop next door to your favorite supermarket

We actually recieved a a years supply of wine delivered to our door as a gift for our wedding from this site. Great wines and they seemed to come at the smae time every month.
ETA: We live in the city and had no problems getting this in the mail.
I also just went on the site and they are doing a 1 cent shipping promotion today

No, the laws have changed in the past couple of years to allow wine to be shipped into certain states, including NY. In addition, there are tons of NY wineries and wine stores that sell online and ship within NY (and to other states without restrictions as well).

oooh, I'll have to look into that... thanks for bringing me up to date 
I've got the best wineshop near by (DeMa Liquors in setauket).... but he's missing one little thing....
ethiopean tej (a type of meade). you can buy it in NYC in several shops, and there are a couple places (in NJ?) that make it.... so this unusual wine is what I want to buy online...
