Barnes and Noble and Borders, but they can be alittle expensive. I know Costco has a great book collection.

Everywhere!!
I can't resist. Borders, Target, Marshall's, Toy's R Us.
(The book stores have a large bargain section.)

Re: Where do you buy your DC's books?
I am a teacher and love children's books --- so literally everywhere and anywhere.
We've picked up a lot of great board books -- classic stories like Goodnight Moon, Guess How Much I love you, etc. at Barnes & Nobles or Borders...
Character books (like sesame street, Dora, Blues Clues) we'll pick up anywhere, Target, the grocery store, etc.)
I've ordered some through Scholastic Book CLubs through my classes orders.
Also BRU has a good selection of board books.
I never really went out and bought a whole ton at once. Maybe 5 or 6 at the most at one time. I just little by little pick them up here and there!

Re: Where do you buy your DC's books?
You know..DS's teachers have never done book orders. I think it's weird! He had them in preschool, but not in elementary. Maybe it's too much work?
Anyway..Scholastic has warehouse sales once a year. They have a location in Deer Park and I hear the stuff is DIRT cheap.

Try Bargain Books...there is one in East Patchogue and Port Jeff and I believe somewhere else on LI...they have a website as well, I believe...everything is 60% off, but it is hit or miss with popular titles
