Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
I need suits/ work atire plus casual (though friends have been giving me their casual stuff).
I have been to destination, where they have pea in the pod, Mimi and Motherhood apparel. I hate the way most of the Motherhood stuff fits (cut very big), it makes me look very frumpy. I feel like Mimi fits better, but seems way over priced for the quality...then there's Pea in the Pod, which fits great for the most part, but waaaay too expensive (I bought a pair of pants and a sweater ON SALE and still )
Has anyone been to H&M Mama? How are the clothes?
How is Old Navy? and is there an Old Navy STore where I could see the clothes or do I have to order online?
Oh I also tried the Gap, but they barely had anything in the stores.

Re: Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
I had to buy working clothes too and got maternity pants at Gap, Mimi Maternity and Motherhood. Maternity tops are tough because they are frumpy and not too stylish looking.
You can pretty much buy nonmaternity baby doll, a-line or empire waisted tops 1 or 2 size bigger to accommodate the big belly. I went to Macy's recently and dropped about $300 on about 10 fall/winter tops.

Re: Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
I just ordered TONS of mat clothes on gap and old navy.com
Try Ann Taylor Mat online as well. Online has a much bigger selection than any stores.

I too have to dress up for work. I got a lot at Motherhood (mainly due to there prices). I have some pieces from Old Navy & Target and a dress from the GAP.

Re: Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
I bought pants and skirts from Destination Maternity. Rarely I find something I like, but luckily I can still pull off my pre pregnancy tops, sweaters. Destinations refund policy sux (store credit only), so I won't be shopping there anymore.
I have to dress up for work, so I'll be browsing some department stores for work clothe. I really hate to spend $ on something that I could wear for only a few more months.

Re: Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
I bought a lot of my materinty jeans at the Gap. The one in the hamptons carries a lot of maternity clothes. I also went to mimi maternity in the city and bought a few things from there.. I was never a big fan of motherhood though.

Re: Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
All my work pants so far I have bought at Mimi, they're pricey but I like the way they fit. I especially like their "suiting" pants. I don't need the jackets but love the pants. I bought one pair at Motherhood and like you (or someone) said, I think Motherhood cuts bigger so the same size was much bigger on me and looks frumpy, cheaper but now a waste of money, but my fault for not trying it on first. I got some tops at H&M. I plan on taking a look at Oldnavy online as that's what my friends have recommended.

Re: Where do you buy your maternity clothes?
I have bought Mimi, Motherhood, Old Navy, Ann Taylor, Gap, H&M and Target.
Mimi Clothes: They fit very well, but are expensive. So far I have bought one pair of jeans, a dressy shirt, Jean skirt, and tank top. I think the quality is very good.
Motherhood: I bought one pair of black pants. They fit well, but I can't imagine being able to wear them after my 6-7 month. They don't seem big enough in the belly area. The quality is okay!
Old Navy: I bought one pair of jeans and the fit good, but not as well as my Gap and Mimi jeans.
Anny Taylor: I bought a dressy top, shirt, one pair of jeans, and black pants. I had to return the jeans and black pants, because they where huge. I ordered my normal size, and I guess Ann Taylor maternity runs big. They where so big, I would never even grow into them. The shirts fit great and are true to size. Very good quality!! Gap: One pair of jeans and a boyfriend sweater. Bought are good quality and fit good. The sweater is a little big, but I will grow into it. The jeans are so comfortable!!
H&M: I bought one sweater and it is good quality and fits perfect.
Target: I bought one long sleeve shirt and the small is huge and not just in the stomach area. I'm guessing I will grow into it. Prices are very cheap.
Overall my favorite stores have been Gap and Mimi.
I bought Gap, Old Navy, and Ann Taylor on-line. They have a much bigger selection then in the store. At least Gap did. Plus you can return it with no problem.
