Re: Where do you buy your Meat?
I used to go to Islip Meat Market on Main Street in Islip... but now it is just too out of the way. If it is a specialty cut I will go to Storks - otherwise I just buy whatever is on sale at the grocery store - Best Yet, Stop and Shop - wherever!

Giunta's for meat and produce
In Medford? I saw that place one day I was driving by and was wondering about that place.

Usually the butcher. Cow Palace in Rocky Point. Occasionally I'll buy it from the supermarket.

Re: Where do you buy your Meat?
I buy from Old World Fine Foods in Bohemia. They are a full serve butcher/specialty store. They sell fresh, seasoned, wrapped and labeled meats and they deliver to my door.
I just had them deliver six weeks worth of meats yesterday. They are excellent ... a little more pricey than Meat Farms (but not terrible) ... and everything is delicious.

Re: Where do you buy your Meat?
I like various places for stuff. If I'm making a chicken soup, I'll go to the kosher butcher for chicken. I go to John's Farms for meat mostly but have been know to buy at the Shop Rite on Old Country Rd in Plainview. They have a butcher counter.
I'm even pickier about where I buy fish!

King Kullen or Cow Palace in Coram, DH friend owns this butcher so we always get hooked up.

Another John's Farms shopper here...Their prices are unbeatable.
I do get chicken though through my husband's company as you have to buy 40lbs & we use it all up!
I travel 25 minutes to John's Farms to get all my meats and veggies. I know it moves, and I don't like the meats from any of the supermarkets around my area.
