We almost always eat at the table. When we get take out we'll eat on the couch or floor at the coffee table.

On the couch or at the DR table (we dont have a table in the kitchen) - it really depends on what we are eating and if we think its messy or not!
I suppose when I have kids we will eat at the table as a family.
