Mexico. I have been there twice and both times I was not impressed. No desire to ever go back therer!

the ONLY place in the world I could NEVER step foot in again and be happy is
DisneyWorld.
I'd go anywhere...truly ANYWHERE (though I have a list of priorities) but ugh...I effing HATE DisneyWorld.
If I have to take my kids...we go to DisneyLAND (slightly less offensive)
I am praying that my kids turn out like my niece...4 times my sister has gone to florida attempting to bring her, and every time she'd rather stay at the hotel and swim.
I heart her so much.

Its probably a North South thing seeing as I live in the North and really relate to being a Northerner, but its just a tough city. I have lived there on two occasions, once with my husband and once when I did the Bunac programme, I had to leave after about 4 months...Its so crowded (10 times more crowded than NYC) Its over run with tourists (10 times more than NYC) its dirty (10 times more than NYC) If you have a stroller or you are in a wheelchair, god help you, there are no facilities for you. I went down to London a few weeks ago and even my friend, who always claimed to be a die hard Londoner can not wait to move out of there...
I know people LOVE London, but its just not my favorite place.

vegas/disney- all that newly constructed fake copies of places etc- id much prefer the real thing
china- no interest

It's hard to say I have no desire to travel somewhere I've never been to - I'd pretty much go anywhere. I dont think Saudi Arabia is at the top of my list, after I found out during the opening ceremonies that women can't play professional sports, or drive a car alone. . . but at the same time - I'd still like to check it out.
I really dont have any desire to go back to Disney.

Honestly, I would never really travel outside of the US/Caribbean except for Italy. I have no desire to see other places and I only love Italy because my family is there.
Tilde, i have a question for you? why do you have no desire to see the rest of the world? Yes, I know there is so much to see in the US, but to experience other cultures, food, history... as someone that has traveled through Italy, I am surprised that you have no desire to see the rest of Europe or other continents. Just curious: why do you feel that way?

she hit Sicily, Rome, Venice...her and her friends went town to town on trains staying in hostels.
She was really surprised, she lives to travel and this was a huge letdown...

i'msurprised as well, but then again she did hit all the touristy spots. Sicily is known for its crime (has a huge poverty rate) and culturally is not like the rest of Italy. Rome is one of the most congested cities in Europe with a high crime rate and Venice is a tourist trap, so it doesn't surprise me that she ran into some difficulty in these places.
I wish I could take her to the part of Italy where my FIL is from and we have a house there. You would never meet nicer people.
