Where oh where has my good sleeper gone?

DS has always seemed ahead of the curve when it came to sleeping. He was sleeping from 10pm-7or 8am straigtht at 3mths. Now at 4mths he has taken a step backwards. Last night he woke up at 12:45, 3:45 and 6:30. I realize that it still isn't bad, but at 3:45 he seemed to think that it was time to be up for good! It took me an hour to get him back to sleep. Any theories on why he has started this?

I don't have any advice but just wanted to let you know you are not alone. DD was just about sleeping through the night 2 weeks ago and now the past couple of nights she has been getting up @ 2:30am - 3:30am and will not fall back asleep unless I'm holding her or she's lying on top of me!! WHAT HAPPENED? I was really enjoying my full nights of rest! LOL!

I've been having similar problems. I think they go through phases and hopefully this stage of non-sleeping will be over soon. My ds can be a great sleeper for 3 weeks, then have two or three really bad nights and then he's fine again!
