where to buy decent but affordable children's bedroom furniture
DS needs bedroom furniture. Where can we go where we will get decent quality at a reasonable cost? I know Bob's is supposed to be pretty affordable, but I've heard mixed reviews about the quality. TIA!
ETA: My brother got some really nice looking furniture from Bob's, but it's only been a month so I can't judge from him.

I have not bought childrens furniture from Bob's...but 90% of our regular furniture is from there and it is holding up great and we didn't go broke furnishing our apartment.

I'm not a fan of Bob's couches...but we bought our entire bedroom set from them three years ago and it is still in great shape!! And we are both BIG people!!

Raymour and flannigan clearance center. Go to their website under clearance youth furniture. We got ds bedroom furniture there and we love it. Paid $400 for big dresser and full size bed

I love JCPennys. Only negative thing is you have to judge it online, they don't have a store with furniture.

My Sister got my Nephew a beautiful set from Bobs. I have to tell you, I think the quality has gone up over the years. The set is beautiful and solid wood!

Believe it or not, try Ikea..my friends have things and we have some too that are holding up well..looking good..only downside..with savings, you have to put it together yourself

I just bought DS his big boy bed.
Bobs kids furniture..GREAT price, but I felt like the drawers would be falling apart in 2 years.
Behrs furniture was nice. I found the set I liked there.
I went to Funiture in Copiague. They beat Behrs price. They had nice sets there too.
Lea furniture. Beautiful quality.
I got the captains bed, storage underneath.

try RT 110 home furnishings, they have a huge childrens furntiture section and its is alot of good quality companies for lower prices.

I bought DD a twin bed from bobs. She's had it just over a year and were very happy with it so far. She's still using the dresser from her baby furniture but I plan to get that at ikea

We got a couch 18 months ago and my DD's bedroom set 6 months ago from Bob's and both are holding up great and we are very happy with them. The kids set from Bob's is not all solid wood so I can see why people would think it wasn't as good quality but the price differential between that set and the one we saw in Raymour was thousands of dollars and to us it just wasn't worth it.

I got DD new furniture from Bob's 3 years ago. It's held up really well, even the drawers. We are hard on her dresser drawers because she has more clothes than she needs and we do a lot of cramming.
