Re: Where to buy Fondue Chocolate
I just get chips from the supermarket. I mix it with condensed sweetened milk. I don't the quantity in the recipe off hand.

Re: Where to buy Fondue Chocolate
I have seen it at Whole Foods, but it is expensive. I usually just use regular chocolate chips and mix with some milk.

Re: Where to buy Fondue Chocolate
you can probably find bittersweet chocolate at the supermarket. I wouldn't buy chocolate from Michaels for fondue.
but I am a chocolate snob. I made my MOH melt Jacques Torres chocolate for the penis lolipops she made for my bachelorette party

Well it's not really for fondue. I'm making chocolate covered pretzels.
Does anyone know how much milk I need to melt down the chips from the supermarket?

For chocolate covered pretzels you don't need to add milk bc then the chocolate will never harden on the pretzels. Just melt the chocolate, dip the pretzels and let the chocolate harden up either at room temp for a while or pop them in the fridge for a bit!

Re: Where to buy Fondue Chocolate
Yup! Melt in the microwave for a little bit...like a min-min & 1/2, take them out and give them a stir (they don't look melted until you stir them so make sure you stir) and if they aren't completely melted pop them back in for another 30 seconds and dip away!
