Where to buy good quality but inexpensive kids furniture?
We are going to start moving my son into a "big boy" room in the next few months and are just starting to look for furniture. Any recs on good places to look for quality furniture that will withstand a toddler boy and through the years and not pay an arm and a leg for it???

i don't have kids yet, but we got our bedroom set and living room couch from JC Penny. the prices were good, and we've had them for over 4 years now and they're holding up pretty well so far. not sure if they would hold up to a boy- LOL but its worth looking at! good luck!

We bought our daughter's bed at Raymour & Flannagan. It's Stanley furntiure. That brand has been around forever.

honestly? Ikea. ( however, this is only if you're an experienced furniture assembler!) If you avoid the cheapest stuff, the other furniture is indesructible! They make really cute silver metal bedframes that really are strong... and their pax wardrobes are durable too.
And, it's sufficiently inexpensive that if something gets trashed, you don't feel a huge fiscal pinch replacing it.

We bought my dd's furniture from JCP and I am thrilled with the quality for the price we paid. Best part was the dresser came assembled.
