Where to donate board games, puzzles and computer monitor?
Salvation Army will not accept open box board games and puzzles. They also do not accept computer monitors, printers or tvs.
Who will accept these donations?

I can never find a place to take puzzles. Old folks homes, hospitals, etc they don't want them.
I always feel so bad but end up just throwing them away.

Big Brother Big Sisters will pick up the donation from your home, I believe it goes to Savers.

I bought puzzles from Unique in Westbury. Not sure if they'll take them anymore, though.

I donate all my old toys/puzzle/books that are in really good condition to the school. They can always use them.

Re: Where to donate board games, puzzles and computer monitor?
Thanks for all the replies. Shocked to learn that it is so difficult to donate some items. When I dropped off clothes and books at Salvation Army I took a look around; stuffed animals, small kitchen appliances yet they won't accept puzzles with all pieces and board games that have been gently used.
The puzzle that I have is of the United States. It's a wooden puzzle, open faced. You can CLEARLY see that no pieces are missing.

Re: Where to donate board games, puzzles and computer monitor?
Based on your recommendations, I googoled and called Savers. They accept puzzles and board games.
I forgot that I also have a car seat but they said they don't accept car seats as it is restricted by law.
Ok, so last question.... Where can I donate car seat?

It's not advised to use a pre owned car seat for many different reasons. You can try and give it away on a fb buy/sell group so long as it's not expired, never been in an accident of any kind, the straps have never been washed, etc.
